Cut! :P )

Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! to Toki and Phoebe. :D So sorry I didn't get to greet you guys on time. :P

I'm up early today because I have to get my alumni ID and my diploma. Yeah, I didn't get it yet. I can't find the receipt for it. I don't remember if the lady at the school's "customer service" gave it back to me when I claimed my transcript for the board exam. -_- Let's hope I don't have problems when I try to claim it. *crosses fingers*

Gotta eat breakfast before I leave.

Jhan celebrated her birthday last Dec. 15. Although due to some circumstances, it was already Dec. 16 when we celebrated it. *lol* Phoebe and Nino were already at Shangri-La around dinner time. Mac and I arrived by 10PM. Jhan was nowhere to be seen as she was still in her workplace's Christmas party.

I don't understand why some people still use this kind of url, example -- www.shabby.multiply.com. I used to see a lot with Filipinos plug their links like that and I'm glad most of them don't anymore. I'm not saying only Filipinos do it, fortunately (or unfortunately? *lol* ). See the picture in this blog post. The username is already damn long and the person still adds www. o_O Odd when most sites would indicate that there is already no need to use the www to have a short url. ^_^V I find it even a drag to add www with my domain. :P Maybe later I'll change my domain to class B.

Horikita Maki is so cute in the picture located at the bottom of this scan:

Atsu Hime press con
(Source: Pianist @ VOX)

This was during a press conference with Aoi Miyazaki about their upcoming 49-episode drama Atsu Hime. 49 Episodes is damn long, but I'll probably enjoy watching it since I find both girls cute. XD Eye candies. *lol*

The garage sale we had last Nov. 30 was successful. ^_^ We sold over Php8000 worth of clothes and bags. Most of the stuff we sold were my Dad's clothes -- slacks/formal pants, shirts, jeans/maong, polo (short & long sleeves) -- all of which are branded and imported stuff. When I helped sort out our stuff, I told them not to include in the inventory those that look really worn out. An old man is extremely lucky because of the jacket he bought from us for only Php150. It had a removable wool lining inside. It's very useful on either cold or just rainy days. ^_^ Then the bags we sold are mostly from US. ^_^V We bought them, used them once, and then just kept stored them in our cabinets. Such a waste...

It was my first time assisting in a garage sale. Haha~ It's funny how people haggle so much over, for example, a shirt that looks so brand-new. We had Php20 shirts and some folks were haggling them for Php10. O_o Then for those priced at Php10, some would haggle them for Php5. It was insane. But I'm glad people bought a lot of our stuff. I hope they all take care of them like we did. :3 My Mom is the best in taking care of our things although she forgets where she stores some of them. ^_^V

I invited people to check us out or at least visit me (especially those within the P'que area), but only one was nice enough to let me know she wouldn't make it. I don't see what's so hard in doing that. If you have friends or acquaintances inviting you, even if you can't make it, let them know. It feels stupid to be ignored. Nasayang pa ang oras sa inyo. Buti nga naalala pa kayo. Pa-special kayo ha! XP You may think I feel bitter, but this doesn't only apply to me inviting people over at the garage sale. It's just a garage sale, goodness. But there have been certain events that I wanted to go to or wanted people to see. I always end up asking if they're already dead because they never reply. Heck, so I'm not only bitter, but cruel even for thinking like that. >_>

Mac, Rayton, and I went to SMX last Sunday to meet a fellow member of Aarinfantasy. ^_^ It was also the second and last day of the H3Con held there. I didn't go inside, but it seems there weren't much people? *shrugs* After that, we walked around around MoA to give Rayton a small tour. Haha~ It was his first time there, so we kept teasing him about it. XD We also had frapuccino in Starbucks (I need more stickers for my futurethe planner!). It was nice. It was my first time hanging out at the mall with Rayton. Ang tahimik pa rin niya. *lol* I wanted to look for a good birthday gift for my Mom, but I couldn't think of anything good. So we went home for dinner. My Mom and her high school batchmates held a Christmas party here. There were lots and lots of food! Haha~ Rayton and Mac ate a lot while I had mostly red eggs and onions. :9 Then when 12MN striked, my bandmates and I sang a real slow Happy Birthday song to my Mom. ^_^V The boys left around 1:30AM. Mac and I met up again in the afternoon to look for a gift. We walked around Glorietta until my legs and feet hurt. -_- Fortunately, we found something that was really nice. It's like an egg tray, but made of wood. It could hold 6 eggs/candles. I will take a picture of it when I get my hands on camera.

Mac had a little drama after we bought the gift. He got mad at me for a reason he shouldn't be. *bah* ~_~ Then around 9PM he left while I went to Isshin for my Mom's birthday dinner. Good thing we ate there. I have been craving for Japanese food for the longest time. ^_^ It was a supposedly nice night, but drama ensued with my love life. -_-

I'll try my best to keep this post short. XD

I've uploaded various pictures once again in my Multiply. I'll soon say goodbye to Hyukta.net Gallery as I'll be deleting that after uploading 2-3 more sets of pictures in my Multiply and making a backup of its mySQL database.

I was catching up on DA journal entries. One of Tricia's post is about her net 'fans'. Well, she's certainly famous now with all the guys who like her, but that's still kind of sick. ~_~

I saw this GQ September 2007 cover image of Paris Hilton at Catwalk Queen some weeks ago.

Paris Hilton on GQ's Sept. issue )

The instant I saw it, this came to mind:

Softly )

I prefer Leah's shot of course. I'd be crazy if I choose Paris over her. ^_^V Btw, it's Leah's birthday today! :DDD I'm going to compose an entry on her later at my VOX account.

I haven't blogged much lately because there is nothing to blog about. AS USUAL. XP As much as I want to write things about my daily life, I can't because there's nothing different going on. Hmm, let's see... Last week I went to school to talk to our thesis class adviser about our topic. Ialready talked about that before. I kind of already understood what she means. Now, she's the only one who doesn't understand us. When we said we will modify the questionnaires, she asked how would our study be valid if we will just change them. Our reference said that it is fine to modify the questionnaires based on the city we will be studying on. Example, I believe that not all urban areas have wastewater treatment plants. If we do our study on an area without wastewater treatment plants and the questionnaire needs to have that data, what would we put, right? Ugh~ It's so easy to explain yet so hard for them to understand.

^_^V I always talk about our thesis that way, don't I? *lol*

We had a short practice yesterday. It was unplanned. Mac and Rayton's friend just planned it on whim. I said yes suddenly without giving it much thought. Since I woke up at 2PM, my mind was like empty and slow. *lol* We will have a gig on Oct. 6. I hope Jackie will be able to join us... To perform that Lily Allen song too. ^_~

I have yet to know someone who had eyelash transplant. I'm glad I have nice eyelashes. (Yes, I'm happy with mine.) If not, I would have to do everything for the transplant... You know, like earning the dough for it. *lol* I'll save money though on buying eye mascaras. :DDD I'd like mine thick and long. Though, buying mascaras in my lifetime might be cheaper. *lol*

I got to upload the pictures of Leah Dizon, rename the ID3v2 tags of The Tallywood String Quartet albums I just downloaded, and burn those mp3 for my Dad so will blog again next time. Some drama came up. I'm even rubbing ice on my eyes. :(

I tried MT4 some time ago. MT4's got folders, categories, and tags. Wow, it's for the extreme OC maybe? *lol* One thing I like about it is its very nice interface. Totally beats WordPress on that.

Last Friday, I was supposed to go to Phoebe's place. Unfortunately, that plans didn't push through. For me, that is. Whatever happened to _their_ plans, I don't know. ~_~ Then Saturday, I went to Mac's place and hanged out for a bit. We just had Mountain Dew, played Naruto in the PSP, and smoked. :sing:

My dad, mom, and I went to Antipolo early the following day to have our semi-new car blessed. There was like a riot; still the same the last time I've been there. XP There were so many people, it took minutes to wait for a parking, and when we did, some asked us to leave because we were somewhat blocking the way. When they saw the priest bless the car, that kind of shut them up though. I was almost getting pissed. I only had to control myself because I was very near the church. ^_^V It's funny how that place turned into such a mess. The front of the church looks like a marketplace when, if I remember right, Jesus was angry to the people who turned His holy place into like that. The front of the Antipolo church looked like you are about to enter a wet market. O_o Alright, I may be exagerrating, but that place needs an overhaul. After that, we went to the grocery. I stayed in the food court to play Lumines. *lol*

I have too much pictures in my old gallery that I really am taking my time uploading them in my Multiply account. XD; I want to make sure that the quality of the pictures are better than before. I also want to filter out my crappy shots. ^_^V These are from my cousin's daughter's baptism 3 years ago. :O I was still fat then (only lost like .5 from my weight *lol*).

Pictures )

The following are pictures from my 21st birthday. I celebrated it with only my bandmates and just doing our usual thing back then -- GET OURSELVES DRUNK. Although at that time I barely get drunk. But I'm now getting old and not too healthy anymore, so... I'm more of a social drinker now. ^_^V

Pictures )

Alright, last set of pictures in this post. ^^; Pictures of me and Mac. ^_~ These are actually latest pictures. I didn't want to bore my Multipy contacts with old pictures. ^_^V

Pictures )

My mom went to the mall this morning. She said there was a shooting (gun fight) near Citimotors. O_O I wish I had seen that. It's something to blog about. *lol* J/k! I would have taken pictures too. Haha~ I really have to bring the digicam everytime I go out. XD

Blast just released 2 doujinshi the other day! :D Broken Hearts that is a FFVII doujinshi and the last part of I Wish Upon a Star. You would have to get it from our IRC channel. You won't have problems finding where to download it because it's available in our bot. I should do the Broken Hearts information later. ^_^V Plus the upcoming doujinshi we plan on scanlating. We need translators for Katekyo Hitman Reborn! doujinshi. @_@

Before I end this post, I present to you:

We had a very short band practice yesterday. EJ didn't attend the practice when he even suggested the weekly practice. Ugh~ So bad! Mac, Rayton, and I just tried to beat Heroes Mode on Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes to unlock the remaining characters. :DDD

I just uploaded Mac's arts in my DA account. He can't be bothered on having his own because he hasn't drawn a lot yet. ^_^V I'll probably ask him to sign up there in the future. Here are his arts.

Mac's arts )

He's 1,000,000x better than I am. *lol* I can't draw real life people. I can't even attempt to. It's like my hand won't move when I try to. *lol*

More pictures... Sorry! ^^; )

Alright, time to head off to bed. Good 'morning', peoples! ^_^

Thanks to my family, all my friends, relatives, and acquaintances who greeted me on my birthday :DDD :

Lovely people ^_^ )

Some of the pictures I uploaded in my Multiply account )

I started the day by going to mass with my Dad. My mom had a patient and Maru was still sleeping. The mass was kind of funny because the people were a bit noisy, there were a lot of kids, and the priest could hardly be heard (he sounded like he was talking gibberish). Mac arrived around 2PM with a gift! YES! An uber cute and very soft stuffed toy panda. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Its name is WU-WOO (the name of the post *lol*). I also received a gift from my mom. She had my old art-on-a-white-shirt framed. 8) Seeing it brought back a lot of good memories of attending art classes in DBTI with Karen. ^_^

The first to arrive were Braggy and a percussionist Braggy invited over who had a girl friend with him. I think their names are Jojo (the percusionist) and Jill. Then Rayton arrived. We had lumpia, fries, and beer. Weird combination. ^_^V We had a little jamming and practice. Around 6, the girls and Bryce arrived. Phoebe surprised me with a cake! :DDD Yep, it's Phoebe and Jhan who gave me that delicious cake (see last picture from the set above). :9 Dinner was served around 7:30PM maybe. There were lots of food and deserts. *lol* After dinner, we had another round of jamming that totally drained me and my brother. :sing:

The night was good. I missed the videoke. 8) *lol* But that can be done next time. Pang-trip lang siguro namin ng mga gurlsss. Thanks to my friends who came/dropped by. I feel special. ^_^V I really appreciate it.

I'm going to end this post with another heart. *lol* -->

I added new plugins in just say goodbye and this blog. I tried the AJAX Comments plugin. It worked, but my test comment didn't show up right away until I refreshed the site. *lol* The plugin is pointless for me. XD; Live Comment Preview doesn't work for me either. Other than new plugins, I converted one of my old MT themes to WP. I haven't come up with a good layout for this blog, so I decided to do that. The default layout is still "Listening to the Music." You can change the layout using the theme switcher in the sidebar if you're already tired with this. I don't recommend switching to the default and classic themes right now. They still need tweaking. :P The other layout took me almost 2 days to work on. Sheesh~ The inverse question mark gave me a headache. XP

Maru's birthday pictures from last and this year's are finally up in my Multiply account! :D Check the pictures below and see if you notice anything. XD

View more here

XDDD I can't believe there's MyDeathSpace.com. The site is currently down. The server couldn't handle the traffic it generated when AP made an article about the site.

The Philippines is where:
1. Starbucks is more expensive than gas.
2. Every street has basketball courts, but every town has just one school.
3. Students pay more than they learn.
4. Doctors go back to school to be nurses abroad.
5. Everything is spoofed!
6. Fastfood is a diet meal.
7. Rodents are normal house pets.
8. Cigarette and beer are necessities. Lottery is a commodity.
9. Soap opera is reality, news provide the dramas of life.
10. Actors make the rules and politicians provide the entertainment.

Arvy sent that as sms months ago. I say that numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 aren't true for everyone in the country. Anyone agree with me? :P

The ff. are what kept me busy (or reasons why I haven't blogged lately) -- Lucky Star, room organizing (not much of a success though), thesis proposal, for you updates, M-O, Angel Sanctuary art (yes, I've started drawing again), and burning downloads/requests. :P Those are some I remember at the moment. I spend most of the time at home and trying to get most of my to-do list done. I always get side-tracked, so I barely finish any. -_-

There was an hour blackout last week. I guess that was Wednesday since I was out on Thurday and Friday. I was told that there was a power conservation going on due to the lack of rains resulting to dry hydropower plants. I didn't expect that, but it's possible if the season's all summer-like. It's supposed to be the rainy season. There were rains lately (slightly strong and sometimes short), so there are no more blackouts. I hope. ^^;

Last July 22 is our (Mac and I) happy day. We've been together for 21 months already. :3 We only went to Greenbelt 3 to hang out. We couldn't come up with what to do, but being together just like that is already enough for us. ^_~

2 pics of me and Mac )

That reminds me, I decided to post personal photos in my Multiply account. I used to upload them at VOX. I'd rather post my fandoms, hobbies, interests, etc. in VOX while personal photos at Multiply. ^_^ I plan on moving HyukTa.net Gallery there too. I only have to look for the old pictures.

Our thesis proposal was signed and approved for defense this coming Saturday. Wish us luck! ^_^V I'm glad our professor remembers us because she needs to read/check the paper before signing the proposal request form. Since we talked to her last Thursday, the process was faster than the other groups were in. We realized back then that she didn't read our paper. Before we could point that out to her, she beat us to it by asking us questions that are already in the paper too. We couldn't answer. We obviously didn't read our paper before inquiring her. *lol*

We celebrated Maru's birthday in Italianni's. I had the Herb Roasted Chicken with 2 mashed potatoes. :9 Then we went to Starbucks Rockwell. I had Banoffee and my usual tall Cafe Latte. I was so full that when I got home I started to feel sick. Haha~ I'll post pictures later after I do some minor editing to them.

Phoebe celebrated her birthday that rainy night too. I didn't get to go because of Maru's celebration. ^^; Phoebe's birthday is on the 27th while Maru's on the 28th. The 28th landed on a Saturday -- a good day for celebrations without the excuses of friends or acquaintances not being able to make it to your party because of work or school. My excuse is different though. :P

Nana and Kamikaze Girls fans must know Anna Tsuchiya. She's released some songs before, I believe, she did for NANA. I recommend Ah Ah. ^_^ I made a post in my VOX with my Anna Tsuchiya audio collection. That's still kind of incomplete because there are still those inspi' NANA (BLACK STONES) releases. Speaking of NANA, NANA day is tomorrow! And... I haven't caught up with the manga nor have I seen the anime. XP

More music-related stuff -- The Brilliant Green is BACK! :D And... There will be a The Smashing Pumpkins' tour. WTF. Did I miss the news about their reunion??? What the shit!? X_X I'm more excited about this than Spice Girls' reunion and others should too. There are some news about them not getting along with each other. :| Let's see how long they will last. :P

Avril Lavigne is sued for PLAGIARISM! Plagiarism is something I didn't expect from her. I'm no big fan of hers and I never liked any of her songs. I also have doubts of her songwriting/producing/whatever abilities too. XP But plagiarism is a different matter. I wonder if this will become a big case. Man, it's the first time I've seen a picture of her CRYING. O_o

I accidentally swallowed a lock of one my tongue rings... Again. This might be the third time. On my birthday, the gift I want would probably a lot of tongue ring locks or whatever you call those. I'd like a variety of designs please. ^_~ Haha~ Anyway, swallowing a lock isn't a laughing matter, but yeah... Mac's starting to get pissed about it. ^_^V

I'm going to make tea, watch a dorama (probably Tiger and Dragon), and polish my earrings while watching.
