I was getting my to-do list done in the morning before I had to meet-up with bf. I checked my cp around 10:30AM (it's always on silent-mode) and read a message from YEHEY regarding the blog event of Italianni's. Very surprised, I asked if I really made it in the cut because I didn't receive any email. Since I submitted my registration, I kept checking my email almost every minute and even my spam folder, but still nothing. The reminder really surprised me. So Mac and I had to rush. ^_^V

The registration was 11AM, but we arrived 12:30PM. Talk about super late! Fortunately they just started so it was cool. I think we only missed 1-2 dishes.

Other bloggers; some with their "extras" ^_^

Iggy, a fellow-blogger, is very welcoming and quickly passed the food to us as Mac and I took our seats. Italianni's served a lot of food -- chicken salad, different fish dishes, steak, desserts, shooters, etc. I never got to list down the names of everything I ate. Too busy eating and trying to take pictures. *lol*

Mac and I werent't given plates right away, so this is what we ate first:

Garlic breads + a spread

The spread tasted a bit of garlic and cheese. This is delicious. I could have eaten a lot of this if it were possible. I just didn't want to because there were still a lot to eat. ^_^

Italianni's chicken salad tastes better than their Caesar salad. The Caesar salad is my family's favorite. We order it whenever we go to a restaurant that has it on their menu. So, yeah, we have tasted their Caesar salad. The chicken salad is a lot better; it has more dressing too. The croutons are fresh that makes not hard to eat for a metal-mouth like me. XDDD Fufu~ I like croutons. :D

As far as I remember, they served 3 different kinds of fish dishes. I only got to take pictures of two:

The grilled fish is delicious! You should definitely order that when you eat at Italianni's. ^_^ I think it's the sauce. It's slightly spicy. The fish, I'm thinking it's salmon, was cooked well. After finishing the slice, I wanted to get more, but I couldn't find it anymore. XD I'm guessing it's a big hit. This porkchop too:

That's just super yummy. Super duper yummy! HAHAHAH~ XDDD

Fried Calamari (or calamares) is one of my favorite foods. It's one of those must-order when going out for a beer or two. *lol* Anyway, their calamari isn't chewable like a bubble gum. You know that the squid is fresh. :) I hate to admit, but some restos have bubble gum-like calamares. ~_~

Before I forget, here are the fruit shakes Mac and I had:

I ♥ strawberries. :D

It's real watermelon and not artificially flavored

Time flew real fast. I don't think it was even enough for us with all the food we had. @_@; The dessert went quick. We had several, but I only got to taste a few. We were on a long table. Passing food is a kinda tough. -_- Well, specially in that situation wherein most of us do not know each other. ^_^V

There was supposed to be ice cream on top of this. XD

The one on the left has just the right amount of sweetness. I like! :D

My favorite is the egg-like one. It isn't super sweet. I was able to find out its name, but it's one of those kinda hard to pronounce foods so the name didn't stick to mind. *lol* My Dad ordered one of this recently, but w/ a blueberry sauce. Still delicious even though expensive. D: Other treats that we got are the baked mussels and shooters. There were pastas, I think, but me and Mac didn't get to eat any. -_-

So that sums up my lunch at Italianni's. I am so lucky I was able to make it. :D

Eat at Italianni's and get an "extra" on the house. You won't be able to request your extra. It's a surprise! When we had a dinner there recently to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary, we got a free dessert. ^_^ Italianni's has 12 branches -- Greenbelt 2, Glorietta 4, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, Greenhills, Tomas Morato, Eastwood City, Gateway, Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street, Trinoma, & Robinson’s Midtown in Malate.

The heat's sucking out all my energy. My Dad, on the other hand, is having high bp; kinda like going on a heat stroke. :/ That started during their WB training at Boracay. *shakes head*

The other day, I was supposed to stay home and sleep. But I remembered I had to ship some items, so I went with my 'rents first to Baclaran to pick-up a drill they wanted to be fixed before we headed to Mall of Asia. I dropped by at Air21 while my parents headed to the Supermarket for merienda (snack/s). I joined them right after. I had Chinese fresh lumpia that is very full of garlic. D: It was hard to get off the taste from my mouth even with brushing.

I planned on practicing the night our new lineup for the Friday the 13th gig, but ended up playing SMB3 (NES), playing WEWY, editing ads in eBay, and cleaning my guitar. *lol* I can't stop playing with Diego (kinda sounds pervy *lol*). Effin' addicting games! WEWY is so addicting that I even got its soundtrack to listen to while I ain't playing. Fufu~ And! I still haven't finished FFXII. ^_^V I just realized that what sucks with old games is that you can't save. I had to keep Diego on until I could finish SMB3 or else I'd restart from World 1.

I played until 5:30AM while I waited for my computer to load. Firefox kept freezing. It does that when I have GMail, Google Notebook, and Plurk open along with other tabs. I wanted to finish editing my ads in my eBay account before going to sleep, so that when I wake up I would start and finish other things. *lol* I really should change that habit. Anyway, my Dad woke me up at 7:30AM. I was going with them for the weekly grocery because I needed to go to Air21 to ship some items. We went home by lunch then I fell asleep right after. I didn't wake up until 4PM when Mac suddenly came in my room. He told me that he and Rayton kept texting me and buzzing our doorbell. They've been waiting so long downstairs. Haha~ I was so deep in sleep. EJ, our trumpet player, kept texting me as well. ^_^V

I fixed myself up to get ready for band practice. After some time, we're (hopefully) playing again. XD Announcement of the gig to be posted later. All I can say for now is that we have a 45-minute set. I haven't played with my guitar for months that my fingers hurt again. -_-

I sometimes read Paulo Coelho's blog. The things he writes and shares makes me wonder about me and my life. In his recent post, titled In the Wheel of Time, he talks about Carlos Castañeda's reflections. In the first text, Carlos Castañeda talks about intention being the most important thing.

Intention is the important thing: for the old sorcerers of Mexico, intention (intento) is a force that intervenes in all aspects of time and space. To be able to use and manipulate this force calls for impeccable behavior. A warrior’s final goal is to be able to lift his head above the rut where he is confined, look around him, and change what he wants. To do so he needs to have discipline and pay attention all the time.

An intention has several meanings. But from what I understand int this text, it is a purpose. Intentions can be done if you really want to and for that you have to be disciplined. I find that the most crucial behavior to achieve your intentions.

The second text says that nothing is easy. Then further explains, "A man who seeks knowledge must have the same behavior as a soldier going to war: absolutely attentive, afraid, respectful and utterly confident."

Things are learned with effort. A person with a talent in drawing doesn't mean they're naturally born with it. A person who can hardly draw when they were young can become a talented artists should he/she hone that ability. I could hardly draw a face when I was about 8 years old. I could only draw stick figures. But when I reached the age of 10/11, I practiced drawing until I knew I was getting good at it. (But I never considered myself a talented artist *rofl*) When I stopped, I found drawing HARD. Another example, is a rich person whose riches will all be gone if they're not efficient.

Lastly -- the end is an ally.

A man who knows that death is approaching every day tries everything, but without feeling anxiety.

I guess this is what they say about treating your everyday as if it were your last. There are times I thought of dying to ease the pain, to free myself from worries and people I hate. But what stops me are the things I want to pursue and do; I'm still young and I know there are still a lot of things ahead of me. I feel that I still have a lot to do to gain satisfaction in life even with the ups and downs as they are part of the foundation of my learning and loving. Dying would also mean not being with the people I love a lot. I also don't want to become the reason for their sadness.

With those thoughts, I feel rejuvenated. What seems the end for me has just become a way for my improvement.

There are other reflections shared by Paulo Coelho. Go here to read the rest. I apologize for any wrong grammar or if I didn't make sense. My meds are making me sleepy. ~_~

OT - I CAN FINALLY DOWNLOAD FROM RAPIDSHARE! Thanks, RS, for the HAPPY HOURS! I hope I will be able to download a lot before the happy hourS ends.

Fufufu~ I will need your Y!M, so I can rant to you 24/7 about my problems. XDDD *rofl* Just kidding! Anyway, thanks so much again. I also had my toys and pr0n to get my mind off things. XD

Oh well, my toys and pr0n won't make me forever and ever satisfied. :P Speaking of toys, I was doing some blog-hopping before the dramz. I saw this Heath Ledger as Joker figure by Hot Toys (yeah, it's a figure... Not actually a toy "toy"... @_@;;;):

Saw these in Toyconph's Multiply.

I want one in my room! But since I'm not such an avid fan of figures (what I really want are Gundam kits and the Yotsuba figure only), I'd rather spend the dough on film, toy camera, books, or manga. :3 I can only stare at this scary, but greatly done figure. *sighs*

I have started watching Soul Eater and Kyouran Kazoku Nikki. WTH happened to Soul Eater? I really like its manga version because the art is very, very cool. But the anime art is just *bleh*. XP It's like artists of Shaman King and the Gorillaz have joined forces for this series. ~_~ Also, why does the story seem slower than the manga? Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, on the other hand, is hilarious. XD A seemingly normal guy is married (as part of his job) to a cat-looking girl and they have 5 kids. They're not all human though -- a jellyfish, a lion, a robot, gay _son_, and a physically abused daughter. Ouka's (the father with the task of saving the world by marrying the cat-girl) expression was hilarious seeing one of his kids is gay just when he thought he finally has a normal son. XDDD

If you read Nintendo's FAQs, you will see there that they do NOT recommend screen protectors. I also didn't even think of buying those. Recently, I checked my screen and noticed 3 small scratches on the touch screen. They can only be seen like when the unit is off. Now I'm thinking of buying a screen protector. Playing WEWY is too rough for my Cerveza Negra DS Lite. -_-

1. Do you think a screen protector will cover up the minimal scratches even at the slightest?
2. Do you strongly suggest I get a screen protector?
3. What brand should I buy? I'm thinking of something cheap yet is of very good quality, will not leave sticky residues on the screen, will not have bubbles, and will not create more (even small) scratches.

Here are my options though I'm not sure if they're all available here. I think I may have seen HORI ones here yet I've read there are fake ones of it.

Liquid Crystal Filter
Protection Filter
invisibleSHIELD
Bestskinsever

Nintendo should release a DS with scratch-proof touch screens. I'm feeling low just because of these scratches. I know they're normal with a console like the DS, but... But... ;_;

On other news, the pink DS Lite I have here is finally sold! I wanted to keep it because with its color, fingerprints are hardly noticeable and it's so cute. XD Also, it looks smaller than my Cerveza Negra. :P Anyway, answers please! I plan on buying tomorrow. XDDD I can't keep myself from playing for more than a day. D:

O_O

Has someone promised you something and broke it?
+ It happened a lot of times already that's why I HATE PROMISES.

Do you want to go out of the country?
+ Yeah

Does the rain make you gloomy?
+ It makes me happy. XD

For now, what is the one thing that you want so bad?
+ A Golden Half *lol*

Wishing you were with?
+ Mac :D and my bandmates (I MISS YOU GUYS!!!)

What advice can you give to someone?
+ Expect the unexpected. Not all things will go the way you want it to be. If you want something bad, then give effort for it to happen. Don't give a lot of excuses. You only get to live once. You won't be forever young, so enjoy and do what you can. Live today as if it were your last.

Congrats, Lomomanila! :D Astig! Too bad I wasn't able to join them. I was too busy that time and kinda unaware of the schedule of events. -_- Next time I'll be sure to join... I did get to join the Lomomanila party though. I wonder what happened to the shots before the Lomo party. O_o?

Much has happened last week that it felt like 2 weeks passed. Two Sundays ago (May 18, right?), my boyfriend and I watched Iron Man. ♥ Seeing Robert Downey Jr. gave me an orgasm. *roflmao* J/k! Seriously though, not only is he an eye-candy, the movie is overall great. I can watch it a lot of times and never get tired of it. *sighs* RDJ is ♥. *_* Gwyneth is also something in the movie. I can't run on high stilettos. :P And... Samuel L. Jackson... He looks cool with an eyepatch. XDDD Even though I badly had to go the washroom, I waited for his appearance after the credits.

The following day, Mac and I were supposed to go to Harrison Plaza to look for a flash cartridge for my DS Lite. Hmm, seems I haven't given my toy a name. O_o Anyway, all the shops there were selling it about a thousand Pesos more than the stalls Goldcrest. So, in spite of the traffic, we went to Goldcrest and got me a discounted DSTT. XDDD It can read micro SD cards of more than 4GB, so I'm happy with it. ^_^ Then I went to CD-R King to buy a Kingston micro SD card with MS PRO DUO adapter. It's a bit more expensive than with the micro SD's usual adapter, but I want to try with my PSP. Cheaper alternative plus Sony mem-sticks seem to easily defunct. :/ Hopefully it works. XD I haven't done much with the DSTT yet except put some games. Now I have my DS Lite almost all the time with me. :D

When I was still canvassing for n5 and DSTT some time ago, I came across a shop with a saleslady offering the DSTT for only PhP200. O_O Here's how our conversation went:

Me: Excuse me. How much is the DSTT?
Saleslady: Uhhh... *gets said item* It's PhP250, but I'll give it to you at PhP200. Bilhin niyo na po para may benta na kami. (She's telling me to buy the item already since they haven't sold anything yet for the day. It was already 7PM then.)
Me: Huh??? *surprised* Talagang PhP200 lang? (English: It's really ony Php200?)

I checked the box and saw the tag price -- PhP2500. How can she miss the last 0? O_o Mac was giving me the look to buy it. But I would really feel bad if I did just because of the saleslady's stupidity. Then I went to the other part of the store and left Mac to deal with the saleslady. I heard Mac say he would get 2. Then another saleslady went to them and asked the other how much she priced the DSTT. The other tells her offer then she got scolded. This saleslady then tells Mac it's PhP2500 and not PhP200 nor PhP250. *lol*

Latest DA additions:

<lj-embed id="9" />
Curly Tops by ~hyukta on deviantART

<lj-embed id="10" />
Painted by ~hyukta on deviantART

<lj-embed id="11" />
Three by ~hyukta on deviantART

Those pictures were taken after the Makati City Grand Parade last May 9. My boyfriend and I arrived late because we didn't know where exactly the parade will start nor where the stage is. We kept arguing almost the whole afternoon too. ~_~ I was very tired (that was the time where we didn't have any helpers at home) and he barely cared even if I already started having foot cramps. Ugh~ XP Oh well, I'm glad I was able to take good picture with my ol' 4MP digicam. *lol* I also used my Holga, but only took 2-3 shots with it. Mac used my PhP50 Vivitar IC100. I hope a few will come out.

Then Saturday I went to the hospital for a complete fasting blood test, ECG, and urine test. Makati Med seems very disorganized now. I don't remember having to fall in line along the corridor while waiting for the retraction. The prices have gone insanely up either. -_- I'll be getting the results in all tests later. I could have gotten them last Tuesday, but I got my hands full lately.

Pluggings (with some sites I unsubscribed from my Google Reader :|):

Catwalk Queen -- because I had a slight interest with fashion + entertainment @_@;
Pursebuzz.com -- mostly makeup reviews and info on where to get cosmetics on sale XD
YouTomb -- tracks videos removed from YouTube

I wonder when my Google Reader subscriptions will become less than 10. *lol*

I was having problems with my PC earlier -- couldn't drag and drop files and couldn't move icon on desktop. I thought it was caused by Adobe PS which I used early yesterday morning. An error occurred, forcing me to restart the program. Then whenever I moved a text layer on an image, it keeps going back to its original position. I didn't restart my computer until I got home to test my newly bought DSTT (YAY!). That's when I realized I couldn't drag and drop files to the micro SD. I tweaked the registry a bit, restarted the computer a number of times, and did a cold boot. Nothing worked! >_< I was getting pissed off and worried because I didn't want to reformat my computer yet. Then I came across this blog. He had a similar problem. Read here what caused it and the solution.
... And buy an EDGE cartridge for my DS Lite (or n5... Or whatever's available, cheapest, and with good features). But I woke up late. My Mom and I had to organize all the stuff we left at the dining area. ^_^V It was getting annoying seeing all that stuff there blocking the way. :P As we were organizing, I saw some sketches that I got from our store room. I thought I should scan and put them in my dA scraps. XD I miss drawing. I also saw in the store room a lot of PS CD covers. I kept some of them for future reference/sketches. It's about time I try the <strike>expensive </strike>water brush my brother bought from Canada. Hopefully results will be good because I suck with coloring especially with watercolor. -_- Attending art classes didn't do me any good. I really need practice. Everyday practice. -_- Anyway, with all that organizing, Mac and I had to cancel our plans.

Time to blog about my Iloilo trip/Dinagyang Festival experience! Shiet, this is damn long overdue. I forget and I'm lazy. Sorry. XD

Yearbook shots were scheduled to be taken the morning before our flight. So I went to school first. I was so much in a hurry. I'm pretty sure my shots turn out bad and probably Photoshop wouldn't do much. XP Flight was around 2:30PM. I hanged out for a bit in the PAL Lounge. Ate a lot of sushi, took some drinks, and rushed off to the plane. XD I wore my sunglasses the whole time because I was afraid I looked like I was punched on both eyes with the thick make-up I was wearing. I didn't get to wash it off because we had to hurry to the airport. I only got to remove my make-up after 2 hours trying to look for a decent and not-so-expensive hotel. My Dad had a reservation in some hotel, but I think whoever managed the reservations didn't do a good job. They said his name wasn't on the list. GRR~ It was tiring walking and having my huge bag. I felt uneasy with the make-up too. -_-

We ended up in an expensive hotel. We had no choice because even motels were full. ^_^V That night, before the dance contest, my Dad, me, and 2 of our hosts from the Mayor's office accompanied us to dinner at a resto in a place I forgot. *lol* That place reminded me of Baywalk. Anyone from Iloilo might know what I'm talking about. There was a fireworks contest that night. It started at 8PM and lasted until 12MN. The first ones were alright. Nothing extravagant. But later on, the fireworks amazed me. They were all pretty. I recall that the grand price is something around PhP100,000 or more. Seeing the fireworks, I bet they all spent more than that.

Where we had dinner and watched the fireworks; that's me in the middle picture drinking Cerveza Negra

On the morning of the street dance, my Dad and I hurriedly ate breakfast at the expensive hotel we stayed in. The hotel wasn't supposed to be expensive, but it turns out that during the Dinagyang, they increase their rates twice the normal. I wasn't fully satisfied with their breakfast buffet. I got mostly leftovers that were hardly warm anymore. The old chef who cooked eggs spoke to me in their dialect that I don't even understand. I said I wanted sunny side-up. Then he asked me something. I didn't reply right away because my mind was being slow. *lol* Those behind me were staring at me oddly. I spoke in English as I requested my egg. Isn't it obvious I couldn't speak their dialect? ~_~ I just said, "Yes, whatever," then he gave me a half-cooked egg. D:

After that, we hurriedly went to where the event will be held. The traffic was a bit bad, so we had to walk for a bit. We weren't late and even though the place was packed we got good seats. Thank goodness! ^_^ We also got free softdrinks and food... Even more than what they gave to the audience since my Dad and I had access to where all the <strike>old </strike>politicians are. They stayed indoor because it was hot outside. *lol* I remember when I went there to go to the washroom, all of them stared at me. Even their security guards did. I took more than a hundred pictures of the event using 2 cameras -- a digital camera and my Dad's N95 thus the not-so-great quality. XD; My Dad kept dozing off, so he barely helped me take pictures. But he did take some videos with his N95. I drained his cp's battery. *lol* Lesson learned from this -- bring a lot of spare batteries.

We then get invited to a lunch hosted by the Mayor. ^_^ There were only 3 of us in our table. FoodFEST! XD

I was getting kind of bored during lunch because there was hardly anyone to talk to except my Dad. Everyone there were old, too old, or too young. I'm not that sociable either, so I was just texting Mac and telling him that Mar Roxas was there wearing the blue polo he wore in his commercial campaign. XD

*ROFLMAO*
I heard he's going to run for presidency. O_o

After that, we went to look for another hotel to stay at. We ended up where a lot of Korean stayed. They said a lot of Koreans go there because studying English there is cheaper than here in Metro Manila. I was also told that 10PM is Korean night-life time. *lol*

We checked in, my Dad took a nap, and I reviewed for a bit while watching TV (if I didn't, I would surely have dozed off). Then in the late afternoon, we went to where the people celebrated the fiesta. My Dad bought necklaces while I couldn't find anything worthy to take back here in Makati... Something that could be cheaper there or that couldn't be found here. You know, being in Iloilo feels like being in Manila. *lol*

The following day wasn't busy. It was the last day of our trip. I stayed in the hotel. Still watched TV and reviewed. I went to a coffee shop just outside the hotel to check my email. Speaking of email, 95% of the restos there have FREE wifi. Including those batchoy fastfood restos. XDDD My Dad picked me up after his meeting with the Mayor since the World Bank has a project there. We went to a mall to continue his meeting with the mayor. His office was temporarily there while the city hall was being constructed or renovated. *shrugs* I stayed there a while trying to keep myself awake. I think the Mayor saw me dozing off in the middle of reading my notes. Haahhaha~ How humiliating! XD

Well, that kinda sums up the trip. Even though I was stressed and super worried with my board exam that time, I still had a great time. ^_^ Hopefully I will be able to go to the Dinagyang next year with Mac. Some friends also... Maybe. :P Oh, pictures from the trip are here. Wow, it feels good to be in a blogging mood. ^_^

Now it's Gintama time!!! :D

I wasted time reading The Superficial blog again. ~_~ *sighs* Even though I enjoy the jokes, sarcasm, and other shit there, I had to remove their feed from my Google Reader.

This kind of video shouldn't be uploaded anymore. Especially in YOUTUBE. Gawd! X_X *coughs* Moving on...

It's still May, but I guess the rainy season started early. May's still part of the summer season, right? O_o The weather is unbelievable. *sighs* Also, all the calamities happening in different countries is a sign... For us to be good people! >_> I kid. I'm in no position to say that. Saddening how one tragedy comes after another. *shakes head*

I'm finally (sorta) free from household chores! *lol* Officially started yesterday. Man, it's so tiring, but I still tend to the dogs. Because I want to. I love them so much that I even had a dream about them. :D ♥ ♥ ♥ In the dream, I was walking around somewhere full of trees and grass. It was either just green or white in my dream. Then someone said that wherever we were was a good location for a movie or a shoot which I agreed to. I remembered Allie then I felt sad. I started to look for the dogs. Suddenly, I had a film camera in my hand. I saw Marie standing (as if dancing) on a bed while I peeked through the viewfinder. The sun's rays shone on her even making it an awesome image. I was telling my companion, but she didn't see Marie. She was like a ghost that can only be seen with a camera. ^_^ The dream hardly made sense, I know. It only probably showed how much I have been thinking about the dogs and cameras. *lol*

My period started yesterday. Ugh~ I felt awful. I was having mood swings. I felt depressed. I felt mad at the world. There are reasons why and not just because of the period. I'll spare the drama now. Should post about it next time when I can't find myself to forget. :P

The other day I finished JEANNE D'ARC! That game is long. ~_~ But it's good. Addicting due to the storyline. I was always curious as to what happens next after a fight, so I kept moving on and barely made efforts to make my characters strong. *lol* They're levels are 5-6 points higher than the enemies anyway, so hardly got problems fighting with the bosses. The final boss was a piece of cake. XD Now I can finish FFXII. D: After... What? 2 years? XDDD

Some new additions to my semi-dead dA account. :P I know these aren't dA-worthy.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go the Aliwan Festival. Mac and I were already on our way when it started to rain very, very hard. Mac told me we shouldn't go anymore. Then I was debating whether we go to High Street or Rockwell. There was a shoot in High Street that I originally planned in going to. Then in Rockwell I heard that the Mach5's there. :| But the rain didn't stop right away and either places are hard to go to when it rains. We ended up in Glorietta. As usual. ~_~ I heard that the Aliwan Festival started late (around 6:30PM) which is a huge bummer for those who wanted to join the photography contest (Php50,000 for the grand prize!) including me. I hope they start early next time like 9AM.

Rozeh~ I'm not really into going to events nor cons most especially. I only go to events where I can take a lot of pictures or benefit a lot from... Like the food tour. XDDD J/k! As for cons, the only con I have gone or will be be going to is LIGHTS OUT. I ♥ the girls there. :D

Ever since our helpers left, the last 2 weeks have been very busy for me. My new hobby is doing household chores.

NOT.

I'm not saying I don't like doing household chores. I have no problems doing a few, but doing it everyday is tiring. The only thing I enjoy is tending to our dogs. ^_^ I hope we get a help soon. Taking care of a building 4 floors high is not easy. -_- Due to my being busy, I could hardly get anything from my to-do list done. I can't watch any of the new anime I was so excited to see. I still manage to download new releases and some from the previous season though. I can't watch Speed Racer and Ironman yet too because my Mom doesn't really like being alone in the house for long.

Other than household chores, I've been sorting and throwing some stuff from our bodega (or store room). The first 2 days I sorted out my brother's school notes and books. 95% of them ended in the trash. My Mom told him to keep only those he would need in the future, but he even stored scratch or torn papers. ~_~ While I was looking at all the paper he had, I realize that schools are the number one KILLER OF TREES. XP Next were plastic bags. We have so much of them. O_O I sorted them by size, threw those that seem useless, separated those that can be used for the trash bins, and stored the really huge ones for the huge traveling bags (because it will keep the bags from getting all dusty). We have a lot of traveling bags. My Dad has a habit of buying one or two every time he goes out of the country. He bought another one from his last week's trip to Hanoi and Burma. @_@ We'll be selling some of the bags in our 2nd garage sale. I hope they go into good homes. XD

Yesterday I went to the doctor to ask for a "request" letter. A nurse checked my BP. He tried twice and failed. He only got it on the third try when he switched to my right arm. *lol*

The only good thing is that 15 out of 16 shots came out. :DDD

Here's a handwriting meme I saw from hisaki. ^^ I wasn't tagged, but I wanted to do it. *lol*

Handwrite the following things and upload it so your friends can see what your handwriting looks like!
1) name/username
2) left or right handed?
3) favourite letters to write
4) least favourite characters to write
5) write "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog."
6) tag 5 people

I removed some people off my reading list. I always read their blogs and leave comments, but I never hear from them in mine. I'm being selfish again I know. ~_~ But sometimes I also want some ♥in'.

Just recently I finished Californication Season 1. I suffered 2 nights of major headaches. That's why I hate series in DVD format. You know, those only playable in standalone DVD players, because I can't stay too long in front of the TV. UGH~ DAMMIT. If it weren't for David Duchovny, I wouldn't watch the whole season 1 Californication. I finished it in 2 nights since it's only 12 episodes. :P It's possible to finish this in one sitting, but I feel weird watching the episodes with sex scenes when my parents are around. My brother also doesn't want me to finish it ahead of him. I would watch with my PC, but I'd suffer back pains on my wooden chair. Lying on my bed while watching is not good either being near-sighted. :P I wrote a short background here.

I splurged on 35mm films before the Surigao trip. I got myself some fresh Lucky Color 200 (lower than the SRP XD) and fresh Solid Gold 200. Then my parents brought home some cheap Fuji films from, I think, Walgreens. :P To add more, Lola Lily gave 2 boxes of expired Kodak Gold 200 (must test to see how the pictures will come out) and Tita Pricilla bought me 2 boxes of fresh Fuji 400. Now they're all zip-locked and stored in the crisper. XD Since Green-ade would be needing 120 films, I ordered from Adorama. I wanted to buy more, but I had to control myself. My parents would kill me if they see my cc bill go skyhigh just because of those. Next on my to-buy list is the LC-A. I wish a green version would come out. XDDD (Btw, magnetic_rose, will email you about your Polaroid films. They already arrived sa officemate ng Dad ko... Siya na lang mismo hinihintay ko dumating dito. *lol*)

Before the film buying, I was already on a spending spree. I gave in to temptation and bought these on eBay.ph:

I made a compilation of local shops that sell manga in the T-A Forum. Some were suggested by others so credit goes to them. ^_^

Booksale MCS
CATS Collectibles Greenhills
Comic Quest SM North EDSA
Comic Odyssey Robinson's Place Malate
Comic Odyssey TriNoma
Fully Booked Rockwell
Fully Booked High Street
National Bookstore
Powerbooks ATC
Powerbooks Greenbelt 3
Powerbooks Mall of Asia
Powerbooks SM Megamall
Powerbooks TriNoma
Skybucks SM Fairview
Yamazaki Japanese Grocery Store (Near MCS? Can anyone confirm?)

So far, I find the collection at Powerbooks TriNoma and Fully Booked High Street worth looking at. If only some manga are open for free-reading at Fully Booked, I would have to start LIVING there. XDDD

Man, I've been so busy lately. My to-do list gets longer as more stuff are needed to be done. I spent two days organizing my room. It's about 80% finished. I got a new bookshelf where I can finally put my manga, novels, and DVDs. A bit unfortunate that I can't access my terrace anymore because we placed the bookshelf just beside the door. *lol* I hardly use the terrace anyway. Had a bit of a phobia going there after seeing (with Pebbles) a guy masturbating. Eww~ It would be alright if it's a HOT guy, but he isn't... So... XP Aside from room cleaning, it has also been busy with most of my relatives from the US here. Shopping, dinners, lunches, a wedding, etc... The talking and walking is very tiring. :| But it was overall fun. I had Mac join us in one of our dinners. I'm glad my relatives didn't "interrogate" him or something. *lol* He was a big help to one of my Lola when we went shopping. She had him fit the 2 barong she bought from Tutuban. XDDD

Here's an -ology meme copied from Lady Noremon's dA:

TECHNOLOGY
Q. What is your wallpaper on your computer?
Alucard looking all evil XD

Q. How many televisions you have in your house?
4

BIOLOGY
Q. Are you right-handed or left-handed?
Right-handed

Q. Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
Some teeth when I was young, of course, and wisdom teeth. XD

Q. What is the last heavy item you lifted?
A plastic case full of books.

Q. Have you ever been knocked out?
Yeah XD

BULLSHITOLOGY
Q. If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
I'm curious, but I believe it would best if I didn't know when.

Q. If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
I like my name, but I still prefer to be called by my nickname. ^_^

Q. What color do you think looks best on you?
I was told it's red, but I think it's black. :P

Q. Have you ever swallowed a non-food item?
Yeah

DAREOLOGY
Q. Would you kiss a member of the same sex for $100?
Yeah, no problem with that. XDDD

Q. Would you allow one of your little fingers to be cut off for $200,000?
No way except if I'm extremely, very poor. I would probably do anything for money.

Q. Would you never blog again for $50,000?
I can't keep myself from blogging even though I should be busy with a lot of other more important things.

Q. Would you pose naked in a magazine for $250,000?
Depends on what magazine. My asking price would be higher than that. XD

Q. Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1,000?
Nope, that's too low. *lol*

Q. Would you, without fear of punishment, take a human life for $1,000,000?
That won't even save my soul.

DUMBOLOGY
Q: What is in your left pocket?
Nothing.

Q: Is Napoleon Dynamite actually a good movie?
I haven't seen it yet.

Q: Do you have hardwood or carpet in your house?
Yep, our spiral stairs in the dining area.

Q: Do you sit or stand in the shower?
Stand

Q: How many pairs of flip flops do you own?
4. I hardly use them and only when it's the right day/time to wear 'em. I'm not such a fan of "flip flops."

LASTOLOGY
Q: Last person who texted you?
Mac

Q: Last person who called you?
I think it's Mac haha~ I forgot.

Q: Person you hugged?
Mac

FAVORITOLOGY
Q: Number?
4 and 22

Q: Season?
Rainy season :P

Q: Color?
Green

CURRENTOLOGY
Q: Missing someone?
Yep

Q: Mood?
Sleepy, tired, and feeling bloated.

Q: Listening to?
Nothing :P

Q: Watching?
Nothing because I am answering this meme. Duh.

Q: Worrying about?
All the tasks I have to do.

Q: Wearing?
Maong shorts and collared-shirt

RANDOMOLOGY
Q: First place you went this morning?
Computer table

Q: What can you not wait to do?
I dunno. I feel very disorganized. -_-

Q: Do you smile often?
Yeah ^_^

Q: Are you a friendly person?
I guess so. But I'm quite choosy. When I find someone annoying, arrogant, etc., I ignore them and talk to someone else.
